WELCOME TO FAMILY MATTERS

Family Matters can be complicated.  All families go through the trials and tribulations of managing multiple developmental stages and milestones -- not just for the kids, but for the grown-ups, too.  For families also navigating high conflict, separation and divorce, even more complications can arise.  The Therapists at Family Matters will assist your family through these complicated processes.  We’re committed to not only providing comprehensive assessment
and therapeutic services, but we custom tailor treatment efforts that meet your family's needs.

Court Ordered Therapy and Parenting Time

If you find yourself in a situation where you haven't been able to see your child/ren in a while, and there seem to be many barriers to you connecting,  it is smart to have a therapist guide the rebuilding of your relationship.  If Family Court involvement has also issued orders for Family Reunification Therapy or recommendations for supervised visitation, we provide a range of services from Evaluation to Treatment Planning to Therapeutic Intervention, to Supervised Visitation.

Family Functioning Assessments and Reunification Therapy

Family Functioning Assessments provide a thorough look at the history, communication and interaction patterns that are contributing to estrangement between parents and children.  These comprehensive evaluations look at the underlying issues AND provide a therapeutic treatment plan that a family can follow to resolve issues and find a healing path forward.  These evaluations have made a big difference for many of our clients, provide the court and other service providers with valuable information, and do bring hope and understanding where before there was confusion and desperation.
